rose seeds help

Hi everyone,
this is what my rose looks like after the flower has wilted. Do you think the seeds are already formed, or should I wait? When can I cut the hip? Thanks in advance!

If your roses were pollinated they should eventually form a hip. You don't have a hip, yet, on those...those pictures are still just of expired buds. But, if they were pollinated, they will continue to swell and form a fat round orange "hip".

Hips are bright orange, and then wrinkle and turn brown. Inside of a ripe hip(once it has turned orange ,and is beginning to turn brown) will be seeds. Sometimes there will be just one, and other times there will be several.

You can sow them (twice the depth as the seed width) outside(they need the cold spell to germinate), and they should sprout for you in Spring.
