Well .. I have a SPOTTY leaved Maple ..

Any suggestions ??

Eriophyid gall mites. They don't cause any significant damage.

Not yukky, just think of them as decorative red spots, like small flowers. The mites themselves are almost invisibly small.

Not worth treating them with anything - the amount of damage they do is so small, it isn't worth the cost and environment damage that any spraying does.

I did take a magnifying glass and have a wee boo at the spots .. they are kind of pretty in their own little way !!
