its a she found protecting babies
she hisses and has fangs
would like an id
and is it dangerous she is about three to four inches from tip and front legs to tip of back legs

This looks like Pisaurina mira, in the family Pisauridae, nusery web spiders. See http://davesgarden.com/guides/bf/showimage/9186/ from this forum for another picture. I suppose one as large as you have described is capable of giving you a rather painful bite, but it should be nothing medically significant.
