Hi,
I planted a Crape Myrtle tree last year and it went into shock, so I gave it vitamin B, pleanty of water. This spring I was hoping for it to bloom and I got nothing. It looks like a big dead tree. I cut off a branch to see if it was green and it was. What is up with that? I think I am going to remove my tree because it is smack in the front of my house and it looks horrible. What do I do? I hate to throw something out that maybe alive. Please advise.
Thanks,
Jennifer
Crape Myrtle Tree - Dead?
Did it leaf out at all this year? If it hasn't gotten any leaves yet that's definitely not a good sign--most of them are blooming by now so you should have started to see at least some signs of life if it was going to come back.
I have a Zuni multi-trunk tree planted 2 + years ago. Last year it had many lush blooms.
This year the foliage is lush and green, and it began to develop buds, but alas they all turned brown and dry. Any clue?
