Anyone know what the name of this lily is????

Pine City, MN(Zone 3b)

would like to order more lilies like this, it blooms for about a month in the early summer. and does it come in other colors?
my plant took quite a hit about 3 weeks ago when we had a hail storm go thru, not nearly the blossoms it normally has.
want to move it into a different garden, when should that be done? Posted this on the daylily forum and they suggested I come over here with my question.
Thanks Pat

Pat, those are probably Asiatic Lilies ( or possibly LA hybrids, which are very similar), but there are lots of yellow cultivars on the market and they could be tough to identify as far as a name is concerned. There are lots of colors available in Asiatics and LAs, and they're among the hardiest and easiest Lilies to grow.

Fall is the best time to move the bulbs, after the foliage has yellowed and started drying. I've moved Lilies while in active growth too when I've had to, but moving when they're going dormant is the safest time for the plant.

If you're finding you want to try more types of Lilies, trumpets and OT hybrids would be hardy for you too, and would extend your season of bloom into the later summer. ...and they're very fragrant too!
