Where ya'll are??? Not many folks hangin' out tonight...are we all giving Dave a well deserved break? LOL! Nitey nite! Lisa
Where is everybody tonight??
Well, I just got off the phone with my sister. Had a 50 minute chat with her, and talked to her husband (also my brother-in-law who is very nice and a gardener!). I spent at least half of that time bragging about my new greenhouse. ;)
I also watched a scary documentary on the Discovery channel about mega-tsunamis. :)
Now I'm just hanging out a little bit before heading back in, will read a little bit out of book 5 in the "Left Behind" series before hitting the bed. It's a little boring around here w/out Trish around.
Dave
Hey Dave, did you see the movie yet? We bought the video, I liked it, Dh said it was not as intense as the book. DH has read most of the books, with the exception of the last one. Lisa
Yes, where is everyone! The cats have deserted me tonight, hubbie is snoring his head off, some silly woman is talking about antiques on the telly and I am trying hard to get garden friends to supply me with cuttings for my garden. I'm getting cold because the heat is low at this time of the night and I should be in bed but looking forward to a high temp of around 60F tomorrow. Won't be able to sleep because I am walking over every inch of my brand new cottage and land (which I will occupy end May) and wondering where I should begin.......LOL. Wish there was a good scary movie on the TV - I feel like a good fright!!!
I've been out in the dark in 2 feet of snow in zero weather trying to put the skunk that has decided to live on and off under my front porch to sleep, forever. We have a dog, cat and child one has already been sprayed. After an hour we gave up for the night. skunk 1 humans 0.
Lisa: We haven't seen the movie. I've always been disappointed with seeing a book-based movie after I read the book. I'm really enjoying the books. They don't read extremely well, but the subject matter keeps me hooked.
dave
Yes Dave, if that (subject matter) dosen't get your attention, then I don't know what will!LOL, Lisa
Yeah the books really grab you from the first chapter of the first book, and they don't let go. I highly recommend the reading for everyone.
I do wonder, however, how a non-believer would enjoy the book. If they don't believe that these events are true prophesy, would they even be able to read the book? I dunno.
Dave
Good question, where DH used to work a guy saw DH reading his book everyday on his lunch hour. When DH was finished reading it he let the guy borrow it to read. The fellow read the book and started asking DH all kinds of questions, he had no idea about these events. The guy really liked the story..he asked questions for a long time every time he was alone with DH. Got the fellow thinking that's for sure! Lisa
