LOL!!!! You are quite welcome!!!!
Hello Again Plumie Friends!
Hi Jeri!!! Glad you're having fun at Ft. McDowell Casino. I was addicted once. Now I only go when Mom's in town and we do the bingo/casino "blow out". Fun, but costly unless we win. I won $8,000 in a bingo game there years ago.
I can just imagine your feeling of the difference here. Especially with this heat! Hope your 3 AC units hold up! I hope you were able to find some nice plant specimens to ride home with ya!
LOL!!! My DGDs are afraid I'm gonna be arrested for collecting seeds everywhere we stop but 45' motor home with tow vehicle won't stop at nurseries with DH driving!!!! There is never enough room!!!!
You go girl! At least you have seeds!
Have a safe trip back to LA!
Robin
Clare have you run irrigation or you just using soaker hoses? Last year i bought a bunch of quater inch line with the drippers they work excellent water goes right were you need it no waste. They are doing water restictions here I have my own well buy if your on the city water with the meters big fines for watering extra. We have had drouts here big time this spring getting rain now but the drip system came in handy then. Just a thought I ran each line 100 ft I have good pressure as long as you run one at a time.
That's good advice, Dana. There is a huge water shortage here too, and water is expensive, especially if you go into the higher tiers. I'm using soaker hoses for the stuff that is planted close together and drippers for the plumerias and palms. I put soaker hoses down for the plumerias just temporarily until we can set up the drippers. We just set up the drippers for the front palms a couple of days ago, and you're right that they work great.
All my plumeria and plants are on drip and they work great, but I personally still give all my plants a good soak every now and then to push the salts down.
I do too, Davie. It's a good idea to give the leaves a good rinse anyway with all the wind we have around here, blowing dirt around.
