Ok, question. I know everyone says to pinch off the buds on small plants and I get that...but how small is small? My poor Dark Nebula is a tiny thing as you can tell from the photo, it is all bloom; the 6" stick of a plant is hidden by the flower. She has another bud on her and I guess I should pinch it off so she can put her energies into growing instead of flowering. But, at what point is it okay to let these gals go to town?
Pinching buds off small, young plants
Guam's, your plant is quite quite small. I would pinch the bud off and let it grow. You have a large blooming season so growing during a month without blooms would be good for the plant.

Thanks Carlos yeah I know this little one is too small but I had to see the first bloom. Also I have a number of plants bigger than this one that have buds on them and I don't know how big they have to be to let them flower without sapping the energy from the plant. Is it determined by the height of the plant, the number of branches, the pot size, girth of the main stem or something else entirely?

I have the same question? If the plant is in a 4" pot, I'll try real hard to pinch the bud but in a 6 or 8" pot, should i still pinch the buds? I'm new to hibs & I just don't know how to determine.
