Is anyone else annoyed with the "Barn Light Electric" ad?

It's really starting to annoy me...big time...AGH! Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr
I'm usually not one to complain much, and I understand the need for the advertisements to be here...but with every click or movement I make on any page/link here at DG, it drops down and is in my way of either typing a post or reading a post!
I had to vent...My head hurts!!!! :(

I posted on another thread in the middle of my sentence that it's entirely too annoying. I thought that Off ad was bad, this one is ridiculous. I understand the need for ads too as they keep our membership costs down and keep Dave's Garden in business. It doesn't have to drop down every time you open a forum or thread, we can see it.

On the other side, we don't know what Dave's Garden is getting from having that drop down every time someone opens a forum...they're getting something good.

After receiving 2 emails via my website Barn Light Electric, complaining about the intrusive advertising, I decided to come on over and see how our ad was impacting subscribers here on Dave's Garden. I agree that the continuous drop down of the ad is intrusive and am working on trying to resolve this. Although we do pay for advertising, we don't design ads to interfere with a site's functionality. I apologize for the aggravation this is causing and want all of Dave's Garden subscribers to know that I am committed to resolve this so you can enjoy this site.

I've never seen the ad or any ads on DG. I have something set up in my DG preferences. It does sound annoying.

If you want to stop seeing ads. Go to My Tools, Preferences. On the right side of the screen there's a list. Choose AD and uncheck the boxes.
