CLOSED: CLOSED: Bug with transparent wings to identify
This is a tortoise beetle (Coleoptera: Chrysomelidae; subfamily Cassidinae - see http://tinyurl.com/kj3m7q). They feed primarily on members of the morning glory family (Convolvulaceae - see http://tinyurl.com/n6fwrq).

I have added a couple of photos in the BF, taken today.
I'm going to go see!
I've given some caption to them also. See them.
