Will GA-3 help germinate Asclepias incarnata/Swamp Milkweed?

Is GA-3 (Gibberellic acid) effective germinating Asclepias incarnata - Swamp Milkweed seed?

Cincinnati (Anderson, OH(Zone 6a)

You might want to skim through this research from Iowa on various MW germination:

If you have some GA 3 on hand you could try it. The above research from Iowa seems to indicate that some use GA 3 on common milkweed to aid germination. Maybe it would work on Incarnata, too.

I looked at J.H. Hudson's seed site and he doesn't mention GA 3 for any of his milkweed germinations, and he seems to mention it when it is useful for other seeds. He does mention cold pre-treatments. I have heard of some gardeners giving the MW a pre-soak in Hydrogen Peroxide/H2O solution (1 to 20 parts) too.

The Iowa research talks about changes in temperature to aid MW germination. And one site I looked at said that the seeds after sowing should be kept cool, around 70 degrees to 50 degrees.

Can you tell I've had some 'challenges' trying to germinate Asclepias, too?! And some people say 'it's so easy!'.
