Found these wee beetles on the west coast of scotland... Anyone have any idea what they may be?

These are not beetles, but are nymphs of a true bug (Hemiptera/Heteroptera) in the family Pentatomidae (stink bugs). This may be a predatory species that feeds on other arthropods rather than on plants - see http://tinyurl.com/lqc8gb
Fantastic, thank you so much. Reading further it seems these may be rarer in Scotland than elsewhere in the uk, I wonder if it was a lucky find!
