I just saw this on one of my Brugmansia leaves, and am not sure if it is friend or foe.
Any help would be appreciated.
CLOSED: What is this grey flat bug?
This is a friend; it is a larva of a green lacewing (Neuroptera: Chrysopidae), and is a voracious predator on other small arthropods such as aphids. See http://tinyurl.com/ococfp for images and more information.
Thank you suunto! This makes complete sense, we have had A LOT of lacewing around this year.
