I have a Pineapple Lily and it really is beautiful this year. Will try to load the picture. Got it. This is the Tallest it has ever got. I have several tall lillies, due to the nice rains we had earlier in the year. I couldn't believe how tall they were.
I have several of these too, the bugundy leaves seem to turn green about a month after they come up tho. I was told that they need more sun to stay purple, but they are in full sun.
The leaves on this one was sort of purple, I have it in partial shade. It is a beautiful plant. Grew quite large after the rains we got early in the year. It still is looking good even tho the rain has stopped. Hope we get some more rain soon. We are needing it; I try not to water my plants unless they need it. Have some lilies grow the tallest this year, just regular white lilies, but they were beautiful. They were over my head. I am 5'2''.
