I am not sure what this is. It was found in a park in central Ohio.

This is a hellgrammite, the larva of a dobsonfly (Megaloptera: Corydalidae). They are aquatic, but leave the water when fully grown in order to find a safe place to pupate. See http://tinyurl.com/nnmunl for detailed information.
