How was your day.......164..???

Hi everyone...we had some excitement last week, tornado warnings on Friday evening..the sirens were going off for several hours, there were tornades sighted just south of us but luckily no damage, just some flooding in some of the smaller towns around us.

My mothers birthday party was a huge success. So many people showed up that I was glad I changed the meeting place to the larger room at the church. We had a chance to see many relatives that I havent seen in years, so many of mothers cousins showed up..it was almost like a large family reunion. I am surprised at how long these people live up here, I hope its a genetic thing and that I am carrying the same genes..LOL I have pictures but will have to post them when I get back to Texas.

The weather is so nice here. Its cool and windy...hovering at 75-80 during the day and into the 50's at night. Rumor has it, it will drop into the 40's tonight. Makes for great sleeping weather.

Please forgive my lack of comments to everyone, know that I am trying to keep up with everyone's going-on's here..we are having a good time...perfect vacation.
