I havent taken the pictures of all of them but I will do it, so that you can see them all

This small collection I'm exposing here is part of a bigger collection I have thanks to these wonderful traders:

Nettan
Wantabegardener

I want to tahnks them very much for all those wonderfull seeds you sent me

the first and the second picture was sent by gardener05 and they were laballed as Akathuki pink stripe but they all came out blue

the third and the fourth were sent by bluespriral and they were labelled Maybe tye dye not

the fifth and the sixth were sent by gardener05 and they were labelled as Pink and purplle blizzard

the last was sent by bluespiral and was labelled as pink shibori but obviously somehting else came out !!

as for the ones you sent me beckygardener, you SHOULD see the wonders that came out !! I'm so grateful to you !! I will open a new post to show all my pictures.

I only had problemw with alba kawai x sunsmile mix and Maisugata but the very last seed of each one of them have been sucessfull so I guess I will be seeing a flower in a few weeks

I have to say that since I live in the Canary Islands, once the ipomoeas set seeds they are double the size that the ones they sent me !!! It's amazing but It's true it has happened to me with everysingle one of them, mostly the japanese Nil ones...

I will be taking pics today and hope to show you all of them shortly

Koko - Please DO open a new thread to show us all your gorgeous blooms! I want to see them!!! I am so glad that you had such wonderful success with all of the seeds you grew out! Has this become a new obsession for you, too? I'm hooked on MGs!

(Zone 7a)

Hi Kokorata,

Regarding the 3rd one here - http://davesgarden.com/community/forums/p.php?pid=6744889 - the parent came from seed from EmmaGrace that she labeled I. nil 'Rose Silk' ("Maybe Tie DyeNOT"). To me, seeing results from open pollinated seed I send is fascinating, and I hope you don't mind how this one turned out. I really appreciate your posting your offspring of our seeds. Anyhoo, here's what the parent of yours looked like -

(ps - the image you show here does look a lot like Gardener2005's Pink Blizzard - wonderful for an arbor, very prolific for a nil)

Regarding the last one here - http://davesgarden.com/community/forums/p.php?pid=6744911 - I did not send any MG labeled Pink Shibori (I have got to cure myself of trying to cram a book into a tiny label - I betcha had quite a time trying to decipher my handwriting). An interesting thing about this one, though, is that when I grew out Gardener2005's Pink and Purple Blizzard, I got 2 results. One looked like this - http://davesgarden.com/community/forums/p.php?pid=6744889 , and the other looked like this - http://davesgarden.com/community/forums/p.php?pid=6744911 .

But, I did send you some seeds labeled I. nil 'Shibori' that also came from EmmaGrace's 2006 gift, and the parent of the seed I sent you looked just like this - http://davesgarden.com/community/forums/p.php?pid=6744907 . On that same vine, 2 different kinds of MG appeared, which I'm posting here - (sorry about the bad pic)

Thanks again for posting -

karen

This is such a treat to have someone posting growouts of our seeds - thank you again. I hope we've all gotcha hooked on MGs, because we've hardly begun to share. Hopefully, if all goes well, we'll trade up another storm this fall.

hi Koko... glad you got one of the ipmoea sepacutiensis to gow i've had no luck with those at all... the seeds came from Belize and it should have a purplish flower with a yellow centre... i couldn't find any info on it either!
