This was found mating with another of its species. It has 3 Distinct Antennae as seen in the photo, and was seen digging into a nearby Maple tree and looked to be Laying Eggs. Stretched out it's about 6 1/2 inches in length.
Black Body, Yellow head. Female is smaller in contrast and does not have very long antennae.
Interesting Looking Flying Insect.
This is a female ichneumon wasp in the genus Megarhyssa - see http://tinyurl.com/lweado for images and detailed information. They use their long ovipositors to bore into the tunnels of their prey, wood wasps in the family Siricidae.
well know how do I get rid of them??

You don't want to get rid of them! These are beneficial insects.
