Who is Dennis Foster?

Dennis Foster from La Mirada California sent me some plants. Now I can't remember who he is or what these things are. They are probably pond/bog plants. (I am a little senile and have a bad cold and have drank too much NYquil). Help! I'm afraid I owe him something and have no idea what!

But I think his real name is Dennis. I got an email from him yesterday and I think his name is Dennis. Seriously. But I could be wrong...I do think that's him though.
