We *think* this bit my brother. It was found in one of his socks. He's lives in south central Pennsylvania (Harrisburg) if that helps with the ID. THANKS!

This is a crab spider (family Thomisidae), likely in the genus Xysticus - see http://tinyurl.com/mzg8nv for an example. Any bite from a spider of this nature would pose no danger to a human.
