With over 400 posts it was time for a new rock wall thread although i do not have any walls under construction currently - later this summer i will build another small one behind my daylily patch.
This wall is finished now and in front of my horse shoe pits.

lousie what is my limit on bringing stones home? And what are the rules, can i borrow a wheel barrel, bring my own, or only hand carry?
i have seen the notice and it is closer than the others - i need to talk my wife into coming - i'll let you know later on this summer.
Sounds good, Bill! Now, as to the rules......we have a tractor (Lydia) who enjoys picking up big granite stones and driving around with them, or dumping them into unsuspecting people's trunks......

DH is being wha! He is working on our front steps. The brick and concrete were falling apart, so he took them out and replaced them with pre-cast concrete. Now he just has to finish facing the old part with the brick that came loose. Pics when done.

Beautiful & unique, Bill. You would have trouble at jumper 2 house. They are on the lake plain. I once suggested that she hold something down with a rock & her question was, 'What rock'? Aren't you glad that you live here?
What rock? Not any to be found in my yard, just weeds.
