They showed up the other day and they are in the same spot...just hanging out together. They don't really move.
What are these little baby critters?
Unfortunately, these are not babies, but adult carpet beetles (Coleoptera: Dermestidae) in the genus Anthrenus - see http://tinyurl.com/l6zzgb for an example. Unlike their highly destructive larvae, the adult beetles are pollen feeders that do no damage.

Wow! pollen eaters. Never knew there was such a thing.
Lady beetles prefer soft-bodied prey such as aphids - I doubt very much that they would bother the carpet beetles.
