Mystery Morning Glory - What is it?

Birmingham, United Kingdom

My friend in Florida sent me this photo, he is not into morning glories here is what he said

"By the time I pass the location the plant's located at, the flowers have closed. The flower is primarily white w/ a pink throat. You can
get an idea from one of the pictures"

I have no idea what this one is, I thought maybe ipomoea pandurata or ipomoea macrorhiza?

Hi

Thanks I thought it was, I had 2 friends tell me the same. I tried it here in the UK and it was not very happy here, slow to establish. Apparently it's a noxious weed. The seed looks a bit like Ipomoea amnicola, furry and really cool...

its not very producing here. when i see one i try to look for seeds but aint seen any one the vines i know where is at. maybe we dont have the pollonators it needs here.

When I had ipomoea pandurata it exuded nectar from the stems and calyx and I noticed that ants might pollinate it.

The few blooms I did pollinate did not set seed, makes me wonder if it is self incompatible.

I bet when it does establish however it forms a deep reliable tuber; it might also hate being moved..
