And you must get a lot more sunshine over there on your side of town. My rudbeckias are just starting to bloom.

And your hanging basket is so very pretty! Wish I could get one of those to bloom/grow so nicely.

tabasco: We really haven't had much sun either. All the ruds now in bloom are established plants from previous years. This year's new ones aren't near blooming yet. I have way too many ruds, won't sow new ones this year.

Have you tried the bloommaster pots? So far I'm pretty happy with mine. But that spot really doesn't get enough sun for some of my chosen plants, like nasties and petunias, so they've been slow to bloom. The trailing coleus from the Rosy Dawn coop, are wonderful though. Would like to try whole bloommaster pots of them next year, but ordering that many would cost a fortune. I might try to start a few cuttings from them near fall and overwinter them in the house. If some of those cuttings survive, I could start new cuttings from those in winter.

No, I don't know what BloomMaster pots are. I will google for them, though.

I'm not good with hanging pots generally~~not enough sun on the porch and then I forget to water.

I love love love a pretty porch with hanging baskets though. Wish I had one!

No, I have no interests in that company. I've never seen them sold locally, but you can order online. I had it on my wish list for Santa, and my son bought me two of them.

If you don't have a whole lot of sun, these trailing coleus from Rosy Dawn would be good. Wonderful plants.

Wow, Karen, the Bloommaster pot is really looking good! As is everything else ...

I had quite a few Laura Bush volunteers this year too - was very surprised. Most of them came true to color, except one, which is blooming a weird shade of pink.

I'm so far behind this year, it's a shame ....

PV: There are both pink and purple Laura Bush. I grew both last year but liked the purple better, it's almost iridescent. I got volunteers of both colors this year.

OK, 1Birdie we will have to help each other along....LOL Hardest thing will be figuring out what I want to plant.....I have lots of acres but mostly grass, I have learned that all gardens need to be weeded so everytime I start a garden I have to keep in mind that is one more to be weeded.....LOL

My MG group has a perennial plant sale every spring (early) I would love to have something I can take to that also.
