My dwarf butterfly bush. I don't have room I want to give up for a big one.
June Blooms
Every spring I buy a $1.99 BatFaced Cuphea from Rohde's in Garland. My BF Cuphea has been blooming for months now. I mean, not that I'm bragging or anything .... :-)

Anna.....I don't have a whole lot of luck with cuttings either. But since I started doing them like Josephine does, it has been better.
Stephanie....Glad the cone flower is going to make it this time. You need to come by and get it a mate.
Carla....I shared Rasberry Wine, was that it?
Irwells.....I simply adore the tomato soup coneflower!!! Did you order it online? I was born up your way in Atlanta TX, go back for school reunions too even though I didn't graduate there. Love that neck-of-the-woods!
I ordered a Tomato Soup, Mac N Cheese and Tiki Torch I think from White Flower Farm. I think the Mac N Cheese has disappeared, and I can't remember where I put the Tiki Torch, but Tomato Soup has done great.
Here is a picture of what I 'thought' was a batface cuphea until I looked at bananas picture and then looked up the profile. I was sent these seed and told they were batface cuphea, but now that they are flowering it looks like they are some other cuphea, not a batface! Sorry Stephanie, I thought he would turn out to be a batface for you, but looks like we both got dooped. :-)
Does anyone know what this really is?
That looks like a Bat Face Cuphea to me, just a different color variety.
Aardvark, the Tithonia is beautiful. I usually grow a couple from seed but didn't get around to it this year. :-(
Sheila, yes, that is the name of the BeeBalm you gave me -- Raspberry Wine. That is really a beautiful plant, and a real favorite with the hummingbirds.
Everyone, keep those gorgeous photos coming. It's more fun to look at photos online then to go outside and risk heat stroke looking at my own stuff.
Carla
Well, Stacey, if it's not a batface cuphea, it's still cute! The color will be nice in the garden, too!
I finally saw my first hummingbird on the patio this evening. It liked the agastache and salvia.
Anna, my JF Phlox has a bloom on it!
Anna, my John Fannic is still a wee thing but I didn't get to set it in the ground until about mid May. But it is healthy and putting on new leaves now.
banana that's a pretty one. i think i have one plant of that. hope it multiplies quicker than some of the other newer ones.
Oh, Anna....I meant to say you need to id that beauty and save the seeds!
