I want to go to the Six Flags in Dallas . . . there is a coaster there that goes underground at the bottom of the drop . . .
Gail - you could have taken the bucket out!

bonnie
Jan, let me know when you get to Six Flags over GA and we'll meet you there! I can't stand it, but the family loves that Goliath roller coaster! All three of them will ride any roller coaster they can find, the bigger and faster, the better! They said Goliath is AWESOME! I can't ride them, they take my breath away. LOL I'm a giant chicken! LOL I have fun taking pictures and watching everyone else!
And I'm totally in on the fall RR! ^_^
I have a box!!!!!!!!!
Well, there is a box waiting for me at the apartment when I get home!!!!
Amazing........one day's travel so that means those leaves from Connie and Bonnie will still be good..............plus Bonnie has something in there I hope is ok..........2 of them..........great things...........so I hope you plant them.........wonder what they are???????
Gee, I wonder!
Next time I'll make sure I'm before you in the RR route! You know what they say about payback!

I very much enjoyed this - the first DG AV&G Forum RR! You guys are fantastic! I will keep an eye on the weather . . . once I see that the temps in the hotter parts of the country are starting to cool, then I will once again start working on the very first DG Fall AV&G Forum RR!!! (not that the wheels aren't already turning!!! - I'm thinking September?)
September sounds good to me. Thanks so much for arranging and starting this RR. Lou
I mean to tell you I killed the Two-W Marne leaves by putting them in the fridge with water...........works great for streps but not for av leaves!!!
Franken Copper Knob is not with her mama..........she is a plant................(LOL)

I knew someone was talking about me! LOL Ah yes, my weakness for micro mini Sinns! LOL I have quite a few, but shan't rest til I have every single one available. Then I plan to hybridize more! LOL There's just something about those tiny little things being just covered in blooms that I can't resist! And Sinn. Star Eyes is one of the most gorgeous ones available! How could you resist this?!: http://www.gesneriasterna.se/bilder/sinningia_pusilla_star_eyes.jpg Yeah, I'm totally in on the next RR. Gonna have to do some trading in the meantime just to be able to wait til then! LOL Congratulations to everyone! I know it was so much fun! ^_^
Oh, well, my mistake! I will get them in a tray and under a dome tonite . . . as well as sticking all those leaves and cuttings!
This was so much fun, Nichole and we thank you!!!
This was fun.Thank you Nichole for getting it going.
Nichole, glad the box is finally with you. It had a great ride all around the States. I can't wait for the fall RR. I am going to have to make more room, though. Right now, my plant stand is full, I have four trays sitting on old buffet in living room up against the slidding doors, my dining room table has two trays sitting on it full of violets, and on a chair I have a try of streps AND in my bathroom tub, I have four of those aluminum trays with leaves rooting. I think I'll stick with mini or semi mini gessies. More can fit on my shelves. LOL
Once all the babies are ready to be separated, I won't have room either! Found more plans for pvc shelves . . . I can make a row at a time, and just add a row when needed.
I have been watching this thread with great interest, but am not yet ready to join in.Syru, I am curious about this pvc shelf thing.I will be needing more space at some point, but my budget is very limited.

Lynn -
Here is the link I found yesterday. These instructions use 1" pvc pipe . . . the directions I have in an old AVSA magazine uses 3/4" - might save a few cents using the slightly smaller.
I like the idea of a pvc shelf because I can add a shelf at a time . . . I don't have to buy all 4 shelves at once, etc. For a few $$ every other week I can add a shelf, and spread out the expense. I like this particular design, because it models the same shop lights that I have.
Nichole
Nichole, I'm interested in the link too. Where's the link?
I can't believe I forgot the link! http://www.tsflowers.com/plantstand.html
Thanks. That was quick.
Awesome information, Nichole!!!
Oh, that look's so interesting and easy to do. I like that you can make a shelf at a time, as needed. I may just give it a try.
I'll probably try and make a 2-shelfer next weekend, after DH gets paid . . .
Syru,
Thank you so much for the info.!!
Lynn
I recently bought a stand from Costco and put in cheap lights from Lowes. I was afraid I used the wrong kind of lights, T12, but all my plants are blooming up a storm so it looks like even the cheapies can be used without any problem on your stand. I only spent 9.99 for the fixture and under 5.00 for 2 bulbs.
