Problems with leaves - ipomoea tricolor

Birmingham, United Kingdom

Help!

I seem to get this every year and I don't know what it is and it seems to be ipomoea tricolor.

There is no evidence of red spider mite or any other pest but seedlings will develop "albino" leaves, I am not adding any ferts etc...is it the cool coastal climate we get or some form of sun burn when I take them out?

Thanks!

Might be damage to the cotyledon

My guess is something in the soil. Too much water, too much or too little nutrients? If it was sunburned, the leaves would probably curl at the ends and turn brown and crispy. My guess is a nutrient deficency.

I will try some baby bio, or dilute tomato food, it could be overwatering as these were in about 3 days of rain and the soil I used was not the best..it could also be the fact I pre-treated the seed with GA3 Gibberillic Acid and did not wash once the root formed
