Ladies and Gents,
This one seems to be a nice mounded perennial and comes back on the edge of my rock garden where it cascades over the edge.
I have had to keep a layer of gravel and sand over the crown so that it survives the winter and some fleece to keep of the rain
I found a few mats of it growing in the hills above Kassiopi, Corfu.
I thought at first it might be a wild form of Convolvulus tricolor but it's not.
I tried as best as possible to recreate the natural conditions but there is no way I can get above 20 cel for very long here in the UK!!
Sadly Convolvulus althaeoides from Corfu died :(
Convolvulus sabatius ex Corfu Greece (Wild Form)
Those are really beautiful Blooms!!
Lovely color and plant. Is it a climber or more like the Ensign that just stands up?
Real nice!!
what a beauty
Keep those species pictures coming, they are great.
Thanks; I don't really grow cultivators I like the species
