Delivering fish dinner to the Arctic Tern chick.
The wind was so strong this evening, the chick spent most of its time hunkered down behind the sparse vegetation, trying to stay warm.

The Mew Gull chick appeared a little larger this evening. The Arctic tern in the background is the same bird shown in the above photos in the same place. The two chicks are only about ten feet apart, there are occasional territorial disputes.

This is a photo of a Mew Gull nest and eggs, from last summer. You can decide if the similarity is close enough to be called "the same".

This evening there were two more newly hatched Mew Gull chicks, at the other end of the parking lot.
One parent with the two new chicks.
The Arctic Tern chick is impatiently waiting for the other parent, to land with dinner.
A large dragonfly delivered this time, was a change in the diet of mostly fish.
Great shot, you can actually see the dragonfly wings!

This evening, the Arctic Tern chick had moved into better view. It wasn't as windy as the last few days, but not very good lighting, heavy cloud cover. A cute little puff ball.

I'm fastened on my seat watching Gary's picts.! A6, lol. I was thinking wow, a balance diet with protiens and veggies combined, but sushi without washabi ofcourse, oh yes!!! LOL.
