The Mew Gull chick appeared a little larger this evening. The Arctic tern in the background is the same bird shown in the above photos in the same place. The two chicks are only about ten feet apart, there are occasional territorial disputes.

This is a photo of a Mew Gull nest and eggs, from last summer. You can decide if the similarity is close enough to be called "the same".
