Route 9 through Vermont, isn't it? And then Route 9 over to Route 12 in Keene, and then down on Route 32? Would that be the quickest way?

Candyce - we take rte. 9 to Bennington and then rte. 7 to Albany, I think......it's back roads, but faster than going to Springfield, and the country is BEAUTIFUL!!!

The problem is, I agreed verbaly to the res. and was told no cancelation and charge if I didnt show up.

Louise, I love the drive through the Green Mountains.
When we were kids dad would tke us skiing in VT there, to all the hills around Bennington. That one hairpin turn up the mountain was always a highlight!
If we don't dip down south, at Albany, a bit, how are we going to pick up the CT and RI folk?? It would only add 1/2 hour to the trip, too (Not counting the pick-up stops!!).

Willi and I are keeping our eye on events closer to the date.
Keeping everything loose, to see if it's possible to car pool together.

This message is to those who were at Kathy's RU......When we talked about this fall gathering at our farm, I gave you all the wrong date!! Yikes. I think I said September 18th, and the gathering will be on SATURDAY, SEPTEMBER 19TH!!! I hope that hasn't screwed anybody up! The date given in the top post of this thread is correct!!
