I'm a new gardener and have just been given a batch of oyster plants which I want to plant and propogate for groundcover. The plants are VERY leggy....if I cut the spiky head off with about 3-4" of root (which someone suggested), do I plant it (them) or put it (them) in water to form roots? Ane what do I do with the long roots to use them for propogation..plant or water..? Thanks for your help..I need it! audbender
