Please help with priority shipping.

I have 4 baby trees I am trying to send priority. I had a box to put them in but once I got them packaged they would not fit in the box. Does anyone know if I can send priority in a box even if I cut it down or what size box can I use? It is about 12 inches long & looks like a boquet of flowers. I have a half hour to make it to the PO. Thank you.

Thank you so much mcrochet. I was panicking! Been working on this one little thing since 11:00am & it is driving me crazy! Don't know how you all do this so much. I do hope it gets easier. Do you think the baby trees will be ok in one of those triangle boxes?

Or do you have a better suggestion? Do you think I could just bring the packaged trees to the PO & they would have a right size box? Thanks again.

I got baby trees a while back in a triangle box. As long as you have the root system well covered so they don't dry out, you should be fine.

Thank you :)

I crochet with just about anything I can get my hands on. But if you are talking about sewing thread, no. I have seen some awesome things crocheted with sewing thread. Is that what you are talking about?

No, I have seen that too, but my eyes can't do that! I'm talking about just the regular crochet thread. A lot of people like to crochet with yarn, but after I started with the thread, I haven't done it with yarn for years. I made my granddaughter a bedspread,,,took me over two years to finish it.

Sounds like the one I made for my hubby :) My eyes are pretty bad, but I do still like to crochet with thread. Taught myself how to crochet from books. The only thing I haven't really crocheted is clothes. Never can get the right fit. I make alot of things for the bathroom. Doilies, pin cushions, rugs, plant hangers, booties (my MIL requests booties all the time), etc. Last thing I crocheted was a cell phone holder. Need to make a new one of those :) Tried to make my Dad a sweater once... I think it's still here somewhere :) What do you like to crochet?

I like to crochet doilies. also made my second granddaughter a dress when she was first born. the pattern was a very old pattern and took some getting used to reading it. I've also done the Last Supper, some chair covers, tablecloths, but mostly I like doing doilies.
I taught myself from a book too over 30 years ago. still have the book somewhere. lol

Sounds like we've been crocheting for about the same amout of time :) Do you subscribe to any crochet magazines? There are a few I used to subscribe to & now I can't find anything out about them. Can't think of what they were called now, but they were mostly for working with thread. Had the international symbol diagrams in them that the new magazines are now starting to use. I'll look later & see what they were called.

I used to subscribe, but don't anymore. I browse ebay for old patterns. have some really old ones too.
one magazine was crochet world, one was fantasy crochet,,can't remember the third one I used to get.

yes I do, it was Crochet Memories

Magic Crochet & Decorative Crochet. Both were thread magazines. Had awesome thread patterns in them & was were I learned how to read the international symbols. They are the only ones I used to order that I haven't been able to find. Some that I used to order have gone way down hill. Crochet World is still a good one.

Hello Seedtosser. Thanks for the welcome.

Hey Seedtosser, I just noticed where you are... Pretty close to my home town! My parents are still there in Fox Lake.
