How was your day....161 ???

Good morning everyone.

First I want to apologize for being so neglectful of everyone here, but it seems that life got in the way..

I have tried to catch up but I still need to go back and read more.

Debbie, thoughts and prayers for your daughter AND for you..please take care of yourself, we all need to have you around with us for many, many years.


The most earth shattering news here is that my son was diagnoses with Hep.C....what a bombshell that was. We are all sitting here waiting to hear more news and find out what treatments are available. He gets results of more tests back on Thursday (tomorrow) so hopefully will know more. Who knows where this came from (I have my suspiciouns) but thats neither here nor there so will leave it be.

In the midst of all this DD and I are trying to get ready for vacation that we are suppose to start on Saturday. Needless to say, not a thing has been done around here for preparations. I take that back, at least I am making lists..sigh

Staying home from aquafit today to get some of the weeds taken cars of in the garden. DH dug the potatoes yesterday, they were hidden by the weeds that seem to have appeared overnight with all the rain we had been getting. I did spray with round-up, hoping to at least stop the growth, once I get it cleaned up a little, I will use Preen out there. Last year we made a terrible mistake and used hay instetad of straw for ground cover in the garden..all those seeds are now springing to life and I really have a mess. I definately have learned from THAT mistake.
