thanks a bunch

ok, here's another buggycrazy lilium id i need help with...
It is a beauty. Don't know anything about it, but I think I've got its brother in yellow.
Planted the bulb at least 3 years ago, yet this its first bloom. Every other year it produced buds, and before I knew it, the deer called it dinner. Until we put up ugly deer netting, all the lilies in that area have always been eaten. I am so excited to finally see it this year and can't wait to see the others. If I could only get rid of that red lily beetle....
If buggycrazy called it Orange Up, I'd just go with that name. She sells some that she hybridizes and names them herself. She tends to give them names that describe the color, like I have one called PYC, meaning pink yellow center. It sure is a pretty bight orange.

It is my seedling Orange Up. I have eliminated most of the commercial cutflower varieties and am working on letting my seedlings multiply to sell since our cut flower sales are better for our own seedlings, and will be naming them since "unnamed #1" etc. isn't likely to sell.
I am glad to accept suggestions for names!
You do a fantastic job. I think orange up is a great description, good enough to drink!
I keep the packaging for all my plants; otherwise I'd never remember. As it is, I cannot always remember what I planted and where. From the time I put in fall bulbs till they come up in spring I am always surprised.
Since I don't sell or even trade too much, it does not matter what my lilies are called other than beautiful.
ditto, i think you're doing an AWESOME job, just didn't know they were yours....duh for me... i'd rather buy originals than massed produced ANY day!! not too great at following the establishment....individuality is the name of the game for me. thanks for your GREAT contributions to my cause !!
keep it up,
hugs
