ID help needed
The first one looks just like Alexly on BC's website http://buggycrazy.vstore.ca/product_info.php/pName/alexly-soldout/cName/lily-bulbs-asiaticla-lilies
Are you trying to put a name to the second one?
Is the second one tall? It looks likes King Kong.
Alexley is my own seedling, King Kong is very tall with weak stems, none of mine are registered and probably never will be unless some one volunteers to do it! We have several MANDATORY surveys to do every year and multiple pesticide records and sales records to keep, no way I have time for that when I also have more field work than 5 people can do.
ooooohhhhhh........i got my butt reamed for adding 'orange up'.....thanks for the info. is your 'un named' trumpet hybrid (?) a cross too? ( pic attached )
thanks a bunch for the info, i'd like to keep what's left of my diminishing butt intact....they're riding me hard for every tiny mistake ( spelling included) wish i knew what i've done to tick them off so bad..
oh well.

That is King Kong, an OT hybrid. It is weak stemmed but can reach 9-10 feet. If you have anymore questions feel free to email me direct, I hardly ever get over here and get easily distracted before I ever finish looking at whatever it is I came here to look at!!!!
Did you get scolded for putting Orange Up in the plantfiles Mary Ann? I wonder if only registered ones can go there? Good information to know. I've gotten a few "scoldings" from them too. Don't think they probably mean to sound as mean as they do sometimes. LOL. I really like King Kong. Just moved it to a new location this last fall and put a trellis in behind it to hold up the stems. It did get really tall for me in it's old location. I think the trellis will work well. Not very tall this year because of just moving it. The blooms are really lovely and as close as I can get to the Oriental look since I kill most Orientals.

hey all! yep susan, only registered plants 'allowed'....too bad for the rest of the world. our gain, their loss . DON'T WORRY, EVERYONE HAS AT LEAST ONE PLANT THAT, NO MATTER HOW HARD WE TRY TO GROW IT, and as easy as it is for others to grow, we kill it. mine are daphnes....
don't ya feel like a 5 year old when u get 'scolded' ? they do get a tad bit condescending in their 'tone'.... oh well, life's too short and i'm trying to not waste energy on the small stuff !!
i'll have to move these in the fall as, once again, the powers that be are going to dig up my back yard for a 2nd time , to put in yet another septic tank and field. ( i'm still paying for the last 1 they put in that NC approved but 'went south' after 1 1/2 years . can't wait for that mess to start again....do ya sense a smidge of sarcasm on my end ????
anyway, need to get moving.
hugs
