Found this colourful spider in my kitchen and as I dont know many spider species by sight i was wondering if anyone could help me

This appears to be a male green orb weaver (Araniella cucurbitina), sometimes also known as a cucumber spider - see http://tinyurl.com/ko8mrd for an image of a male and http://tinyurl.com/knhmkc for an image of a female as well as more information on this species.
