My Canterbury Bells has bloomed & the blooms are now fading. Do I need to wait for the seeds to dry on the stalks, or can I cut the stalks down & let them dry that way? I planted 5 year old seeds & had an amazing number of very tall beautiful plants, so I want to save the seeds for next years planting.

It's better to leave the stalks on the plant and wait until the seeds are dry.
Thanks!
