I found at least 14 of these on the side of the house and back door this morn. Could someone id this moth for me? Thanks.

It looks like a Hickory Tussock Moth, Lophocampa caryae. Note the warnings about touching the caterpillars:

Thank you claypa. I know the caterpillar very well. My nephew's hand swelled up after handling one of these last year.
