I think it was on this site that I recently learned how to germinate hardy hibiscus. Get coarse sandpaper and a piece of aluminum foil. Place the seeds on the sandpaper and wad up the foil to use as a scrubber, moving the seeds around with a lot of pressure. This scarifies them. Mine germinated in
TWO days. How wonderful. I can use them all over my property, and even make a hedge of them in my ditch. Whoever posted this where ever, please accept my deepest appreciation.
