A monument tells the story. We live 3 km from the original settlement.

That ends the boys visit to Nova Scotia and they will be on their way to Ontario in Monday's post. We hope they have fond memories and we are sure they are looking forward to the rest of there trip. We wish we could accompany them!

We will finish with one last view of the rhododendrons. These have been just a selection of the many photo's taken at these wonderful gardens. You all come visit and see for yourself.

I've thoroughly enjoyed the pictures and the history. Those lads are sure getting a lesson in history on this trip. Lovely colour with the Wisteria and Labernums. Thanks for posting them.

So the boys prefer 'going COMMANDO, under those kilts LoL ..

Absolutely STELLAR pics eastjack .. I am in awe of the colours and varieties of plants and flowers.
Thank you, and the Mrs., for being such gracious hosts.

Grand Forks, BC(Zone 5b)

Thanks Eastjack, for the lovely tour. Definitely on my list of places to see. I am familiar with the area in Grand Forks that you purchased a home, but it appears you did pretty well with the gorgeous place you finally decided to settle down in. ^_^

St. John's, NL(Zone 5b)

Wow! Glad to see the boys are enjoying their NS viist. I know the knomes were a bit put out about not getting to Ecuador. This is more than making up for it!...and those kilts are fantastic!

Victoria, BC(Zone 8b)

Great tour and photo diary of the boys. They had a right good time in NS.

The boys are on their way to Moose Factory, Ontario. Gardening there would be a challenge I think.

Thunder Bay Ontario, ON(Zone 3a)

Whoa .. Moose Factory is pretty far north ... I am sure Bullwinkle will be impressed :o)

Onward HO !!!!!!!!!

Ottawa, ON(Zone 5a)

This trip for the lads is out of order because gillibean would have vacation conflicts a bit later. but I have to admit that the first time I entered Moose Factory into Google Maps, I'm SURE it showed a different location. It should be an interesting visit. (And lots of water around to challenge those looking after Bullwinkle.)

Mona in Metcalfe, ON(Zone 5a)

that was just amazing so nice to tour with the boys and seeing such beautifull places

Just wanted to let everyone know that Bullwinkle and the boys made it here to Moose Factory safely. They're a bit tired from the trip and still getting used to the new time zone but they're up for some touring tonight. I'll be on to post some pics either tonight or tomorrow morning.
