What kind of caterpillar is this?

Hello,

We live in Seattle,WA area and we found this roughly 2" long dark green brownish, no hair or very few small hairs and no patterns or specific features.

Anyone has any idea what this might be and what they might be feeding on?

After a little more searching we now think we have a Noctuidae (aka Cutworm) - http://www.organicgardeninfo.com/cutworm.html
Please let me know if my guess might be wrong?
