Small red bugs on a few leaves of my only thriving plant.

Decatur, GA

Just saw 15-20 of these small red bugs hanging out on a few leaves of my bougainvillea. I can't tell if they're eating it or not, but I'd prefer them to begone. Can you help me identify them?

It looks like some type of nymph. Do you have a better pic of it's front end?

It is a nymph of a heteropteran insect (true bugs), but a clearer image is necessary to see diagnostic features.
