Moscito advertising....

This moscito advertising is really putting me off, and so is the increasing amount of advertising on this site...If the responsables don't change that I will not renew my subscription, fullstop. Every website starts of nicely and then the money bug gets in...

I have disabled the ads, (it's one of the perquisites of being a subscriber ;o)

When you have concerns, suggestions, questions or complaints about any aspect of the site, you should use the "Contact Us" link at the bottom of every page of the site, or find the Dave's Garden forum. Our admin team doesn't see every post in every forum, and it was only by chance that I came across your post this morning when I saw it among the more recent posts on my "home" page.

We know the "Off" mosquito ad is a bit of a pest (pardon the pun), and we have passed along feedback and concerns from members to the sales team--unfortunately, the advertiser doesn't have another ad to replace it with (and advertising along with subscriptions is how we can afford to maintain this site.) We hope the advertiser (and their ad agency) will take the feedback into considerations when they are creating future ads for their products.

At a future point, you may want to re-enable the ads (or leave them off; it is your prerogative.)
