wrote: Kelley, I was about to say hello yesterday, but was interupted by a street party with all of our dear neighbours and today we had guests all day. We were at the local manison today to see the large park they have there and later Lene was out to watch a theatrical piece, while I was running up and down in the garden trying to form an impression of the wierdlings in bloom for first and second flush. Lillith is pretty stabile in shape and color as is Fairy Queen, but King of Diamonds played tricks on me. First part of the same flush was white shaped like L`Amour, the next cream yellow and the tube broader and they started to hang down and those that opened yesterdat are golden with orangy edge and hangs there as tiny B. versicolor imitations. Now I can only cross my fingers that the name still fits the plant, when the flowers settle for its definite shape and color as I am guilty of naming at leat a few too early. |
