themoonhowl wrote: Thanks Dianne, I too think of you often and do wish I lived closer. We would be great partners in mischief and music. ((HUGS) for you and the fine furry boys. Betty....tsk tsk tsk....you lose your "mother hen fussing rights" when you don't heed those who are fussing for you to take care of yourself....it can be hard to admit that we are not invincible, but harder still for those who love us, to watch us slip away....too much chaos as we age, and it is so painful to know some of it was controllable. Sending good thoughts for Darlene. It is never easy, no matter how prepared we think we are. Katie, so happy for you...the small victories are sometimes the sweetest...I am sure you know that, but do know you are often in my thoughts. LK, I hope to get to the Post Office Friday. I will let you know when the bulbs are sent. M....perhaps it is the steel toed boot that is causing Lorna grief. She may be able to use a regular work boot with her prosthesis and the steel toed boot for her foot.. It would be well worth looking in to IMHO. Barb....some times we think so long and hard on a problem the solution smacks us on the head. I don't know why I didn't think to post that sooner...I have used shepherd's hooks for baskets for years...duh! Marion, Sue's learning to cope is wonderful news and a great relief for you. And getting a/c in the deep south is a joy and a blessing...not to mention an absolute necessity. GRIN. Debbie...shame on children with selective memories...how easily they forget the things that caused us grief and worry.....I do agree with Betty...perhaps a little distance would be a good thing for you and a lesson for them. Hugs and good thoughts to you all, and a bit of sunshine. (it takes me a while to type left handed, I do not want to have this post evaporate like some of the others) |
