Many of the white cannas have a tinge of yellow when first blooming and earlier summer. Into summer they will bloom good "white". Root.. Japanese Beetles are 3/8" metallic brown colour beetles. The female lands and the males come flying in. While one is busy with her, the others wait in line for a turn. And they all eat ..except the busy guy ..he can't reach to eat! Each little female and group can take a leaf down in no time. Individuals attack the flowers more. These beetles really like the white canna flowers. I use systemics when I see, but still get some coming. So try to get those with something else. But it's hard to keep up. Have not seen these on my brug flowers yet ..and hope NEVER! Tracey .. good to see you, too (o: Your brugs here are growing good. So much to do this year, when I have gotten pix, no time to send them. I will try to do better. And will try to stay in touch better. Kyle, your red Cleo here has done great (o:Got some good pix and will try to post soon. Also, will talk to you more soon. Seedlings are coming along (o: Good to see everyone else, too (o: Thanks (o: |
