She was the smallest and quickest on the team so she wanted that position. I was so worried for her every game then the night came..... A "strong" opponent stepped up to bat---- I just got chills down my neck and the opponent swung hard and hit my daughter right in the mouth!!!! knock her and her teeth out... Smooth out!!! Loaded her up in the ambulance and off the the ER we go. Her teeth came back in but was all crooked from the blow so in about 6 weeks we get the braces off!!!! She refused to quit playing ball and stayed in that position--- so don't think for a second it is just a "boy" thing.
