Beginner Gardening: red spots on my Minerva Amaryllis, 1 by emptyeyes

Thanks Diana_K, the discs I was talking about are the ones you can plant your plant in instead of soil. You pour water on it and wait a while and you can just put your plant in there. I guess you are right, the one that has red on it is growing too, you can actually see where the new green is on both of them. I was told that since I used Miracle-Gro potting soil, it has fertilizer in it. Here is the two pictures where you can see the new greenery. The first photo is the Minerva and the second is Red Lion.
