This IS a Pediocactus sileri. And the given location, Clayhole Rd.(though south of 389 and not 89 A) is absolutely right for this species!
Coryphantha vivipara doesn't have such stout spines nor such thick withered spines at the base of the plant, it has more radials radiating from the upper part of the areoles and is growing only in higher elevation.
